Allison Luxton, MA, LMHCA
I am a Mental Health Counselor providing tele-health therapy to adults and adolescents throughout Washington state. My goal as a therapist is to support clients in what they experience in life, as well as make key connections to the past and present to bring healthy change. I address common issues such as depression, sexual abuse, addiction, mental health, and relationships. I follow a relational psychodynamic approach with a focus on attachment, narrative, and family systems.
I hold a Master’s in Counseling Psychology from The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology, BA in Human Services, and AA in Early Childhood Education. My experience includes working in the social work field for 20 years supporting families and their children’s development, participating in and leading recovery groups, as well as personal work supporting mindfulness practices for healthy self-improvement.
Originally from Arizona, I moved to Washington State in 2015. In addition to being a therapist, I enjoy creating art, music, walking outside, coffee, and spending time with friends and family.
I currently only provide telehealth sessions.
In network with Premera, Lifewise, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Regence, Kaiser (PPO), Heritage & The First Choice Network.
