Sarah Brown, MA, LMHCA * Adults & Children in West Seattle

“The work of restoration cannot begin until a problem is fully faced” (Dan Allender).

If you know in your gut that something is keeping you “stuck”, I suggest paying attention to what that might be. If your emotions and body are telling you something is not well, then would you do the brave and often scary work of unearthing the stories of harm, and loss, and hope that you are carrying? Because until these stories are honestly told, and wonderfully named, your healing has a cap on it. And if you know in your gut that you were meant for more than just “getting by” in life, then I invite you to begin your work of restoration.

Hi, my name is Sarah, and I provide individual trauma-informed therapy for children, adolescents, and adults in West Seattle. Childhood sexual abuse, loss/grief, and children (including adult children) of parents with mental illness are a few of my specialities. My approach is relational and each session is a collaborative process.
